Family photography season is beginning and I am so excited to share with you this beautiful family portrait session. After having to move our location when the tulips didn’t bloom as planned we chose the Biltmore Estate and it did not disappoint.
The Biltmore Estate is one of my favorite places for family photos because of the variety it offers. There is stunning architecture, gardens, walking trails and large fields with mountain views. If you’re up for some walking you can have it all in your family portraits. My season pass can get a family in for free after 5pm which is perfect for those late spring, summer and early fall sessions!
Playing games with the families I photograph is one of my favorite parts of the session. We play “Look, but don’t point,” “The magic word” “Show me your face” and of course we dance and twirl in the sunshine. There is usually also some bathroom humor involved which always gets smiles and laughs from the little ones! I do what it takes to get those authentic giggles and smiles.
After every family session I get back together with my clients for their purchasing session. This is their time to view their gallery of hand-edited images and place their order for prints, wall art, albums or digital files. I LOVE doing this with my clients and providing this service for them. I have found over the years that most of my clients never take the time to print their images and they end up sitting in the cloud or on a hard rive in their drawer. I really value the artwork I create for my clients so I want to take the time to help them choose quality, heirloom prints to display in their homes and keep for generations.
