Between careers, school schedules, practices, games, appointments, and everything in between, time has a way of slipping by quietly. Seasons change, children grow, and moments we meant to slow down and savor often pass faster than we expect.
My work is rooted in preserving those moments with care and intention.
As a mother and artist, I know how meaningful it is to have photographs that feel personal, elevated, and true to who your family is in this season of life. I also know how valuable it is to work with a professional you can trust—someone who guides the process, handles the details, and allows you to simply be present.
With ten years of experience photographing families, seniors, and couples, I bring a refined artistic eye and a steady, reassuring presence to every session.
My approach blends fine-art sensibility with thoughtful direction—creating portraits that feel natural, timeless, and elevated. Sessions are guided without being forced, intentional without feeling stiff, and always centered around connection.
From planning to final delivery, every detail is handled with care. You don’t need to know how to pose, what to wear, or how it will all come together—that’s my role.

Valerie did our newborn pictures. It was so difficult finding a photographer during the pandemic. When I messaged Valerie she instantly responded and set up a time with me that was two days away. It is very important to get the pictures taken within 7-10 days old. I talked to Valerie about the types of pictures I would like and she listened and was so nice! As soon as we were ready to start taking pictures my baby would not cooperate. It took us 30 minutes to get him to settle down. Valerie never once complained. She was so patient and kind throughout the whole session. I have always dreamed of newborn pictures and Valerie exceeding my dreams. She was so gentle with my baby during the whole session. After the four hour session we were all exhausted. I received my pictures so fast and I loved every single shot! So much that I ended up purchasing every one of them. I highly recommend Valerie! You will not regret choosing her as your photographer!

Working with Valerie was amazing. She took the time before our photo session to walk me through outfit choices and color palettes, patiently answering all my questions and taking the time to make sure I felt ready for our session. During the session she was professional and personable, instantly making my kids feel comfortable and she managed to get multiple shots with natural smiles and laughs! She takes time with her clients, making sure you get the pictures you want during the session and did not make us feel like her time was rushed at all. During our first session with her, it started to rain and she magically produced a clear umbrella and continued taking photos, which ended up being some of my favorite pictures of our session! We will for sure be using Valerie for family sessions in the future and cannot recommend her enough.
