There is nothing sweeter than a precious baby girl especially one that smiles during her entire session. That is exactly what sweet little Sophia did. She was a dream to work with and I really enjoyed this Asheville studio session with her parents!
Mom was really drawn to a feminine session with color. We chose pale pink and cream with some other pops of colors mixed in. I also brought some flowers to the session to add texture and interest to a few images. I love collaborating with the parents on what they are drawn to, nursery colors and what they envision hanging in their homes. I want them to love their images and I want their style and personality reflected.
Little Sophia was born a few days before July 4th so Mom asked if we could incorporate her red, white and blue scarf in an image. I loved this idea and I love the result even more. I always ask if the parents want to include any special items from home.
Studio sessions are so easy and laid back. I have everything prepped and ready before you arrive. All you have to do is show up with baby ready for some cuteness. The studio is stocked with all of my props and outfits (of course) but also with snacks, coffee and water. Sessions are private so it is only your family in the studio. We are on baby’s schedule and newborn sessions typically take 3 hours.
I really loved creating some beautiful images for this sweet family to celebrate their new addition. They chose an heirloom album of their images and a large canvas to hang in their home as well as some small prints and digitals. Preserving this big love to cherish for generations is my most favorite thing about photographing other families.
